Clouds Rest Vineyards, LLC Announces Steve Morey, Master Sommelier as New Director

of Sales & Marketing

 

Acting as Director of Sales and Marketing, Clouds Rest will rely on Steve’s many

talents and assets to exclusively promote their wines, which include Estate grown

Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc Musque.  His expertise includes twenty

years as lecturer and member of the examination panel for the Court of Master

Sommeliers, along with industry experience that ranges from restaurant Wine

Director, Bordeaux and Burgundy specialist for suppliers, and opening General

Manager for a newly launched import and distribution company in Nevada.

Clouds Rest is excited and proud to present Steve Morey, Master Sommelier, as the

newest member of the Clouds Rest family. He is joining Vintner, John Saemann-

General Manager, Scott Schuette and veteran winemaker Anthony Austin. With what

started with a shared glass of their inaugural vintage of Pinot Noir, a professional

collaboration and friendship has emerged.

Clouds Rest Vineyards newest release is their 2009 "Femme Fatale" Pinot Noir which

retails for $49 and their 2006 "Limited Release" Pinot Noir that retails for $100.

ABOUT CLOUDS REST VINEYARDS - Clouds Rest Vineyards is best known for their

single vineyard, small production Pinot Noir but they also produce two white wines,

a Chardonnay and a Sauvignon Blanc Musque. Their first Pinot Noir vintage was 2002.

Their Pinot Noir production averages around 400 cases and their two whites average

around 175 cases.
